Takemasa Okuyama demonstrates karate technique for the serious student, showing intricate applications of stances and hand techniques beyond the Heian katas and Tekki Shodan. Okuyama has developed drills that take out fine details of each kata. The student uses these techniques in a series of 2-partner and 3-partner sequences to properly learn the timing and distance necessary.
